VARIOUS OF PEOPLE FILLING THEIR PLASTIC CONTAINERS WITH WATER / SOME KEEP WAITING ON LINEGAZA, PALESTINE - JULY 15, 2025: Palestinians in Gaza, currently under sustained Israeli attacks, are enduring increasingly harsh living conditions as they struggle without necessities such as shelter, food, and clean water. In Gaza, residents have resorted to filling plastic containers with water distributed by tanker trucks to meet their daily needs on Tuesday, July 15. The lack of access to clean water has become a critical issue following the destruction of multiple water treatment plants in Israeli airstrikes. With soaring summer temperatures adding to the strain, the situation continues to deteriorate, highlighting the growing humanitarian crisis faced by civilians across Gaza. Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, Israel has pursued a brutal offensive on Gaza since late October 2023, killing nearly 58,400 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The relentless bombardment has destroyed the enclave and led to food shortages and the spread of diseases. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
