This is the hilarious moment a contestant fell into the water during an obstacle course showdown in China.

Footage shows the participant running across a moving conveyor belt set above a lake in Shandong.

He sprinted toward a platform but slipped and tumbled backward, dropping onto the fast-moving treadmill .

The fall elicited laughter from the audience as the agile contestant regained his balance and, steeling himself, dashed forward again.

This time, he successfully landed on the next obstacle as spectators cheered him on. He leapt onto the next section of the obstacle course, but was foiled by a set of red rollers that sent him plunging into the water below.

The crowd burst into fits of laughter as he swam out of the lake.
