Fascinating footage shows how Chinese steamed buns are made on a factory production line.

Workers recorded the machine preparing yeast-leavened snacks, known in the country as baozi, as they moved along a conveyor belt in Guangxi, China, on October 15.

The dough can be seen divided into two rotating layers that wrap the vegetable filling as the machine operates rhythmically.

Each rotation produces a fully formed baozi, rolling forward in a neat, continuous flow.

The device then shapes the staple food into buns before packing them, ready to be cooked and served at home.
