Tragic Hit-and-Run Incident Near Palod Village, Surat — Woman Injured After Being Hit by Creta Car at Petrol Pump

A tragic accident occurred near Palod village in Mangrol Taluka, Surat, on July 19. After refueling his vehicle at a petrol pump, the driver of a Creta car struck a 35-year-old woman who was collecting garbage at the station.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage. The video shows the woman being hit and coming under the car, after which the vehicle fled the scene. The injured woman was later seen sitting on the ground, clearly hurt from the impact.
Emergency responders immediately took the woman to the hospital for treatment. The police are investigating the case, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.
