Energetic pet bird dances and fights plastic bag
This is the amusing moment a seemingly overstimulated pet bird was spotted dancing and fighting with a plastic bag.
Suteera Ketarunsakul witnessed her cockatiel, named Kluayhom, bouncing his head while chirping on a sofa before suddenly attacking the container in Bangkok, Thailand.
Footage shows the two-year-old yellow avian biting the handle of the plastic bag while squawking on July 29.
Moments later, feathered creature abruptly stopped and began happily nodding his head again, as if grooving to an upbeat tune.
Suteera said: 'I don't know if he is angry or happy — I think he has bipolar disorder.'
Birds may exhibit sudden shifts in behaviour, alternating between aggression and affection, due to a range of biological, environmental, and psychological factors.
These include hormonal fluctuations, environmental stress, boredom from lack of stimulation, or underlying health issues.
