This is the hilarious moment a holidaymaker struggled to board a banana boat during a family outing.

Ivy Yuzon and her family were riding the inflatable at Anawangin Island in Zambales, the Philippines, when her two children fell into the water.

The youngsters, wearing life vests, swam toward the yellow-and-blue float to climb back aboard on January 10.

However, Ivy's daughter, Inday, struggled to hop onto the slippery rubber boat while her family waited for her.

Footage shows Inday's brother attempting to haul her out of the water while she firmly gripped the handles to pull herself up.

After several minutes of attempting to clamber onto the boat, the teenager finally managed to get aboard.

The boat operator then resumed their thrilling ride across the island waters.
