VARIOUS DRONE SHOTS OF BLIDINJE NATURE PARK AND DREZANKA RIVERMOSTAR, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA - JULY 20: As summer unfolds across the Balkans, hidden natural gems in Bosnia and Herzegovina are drawing both domestic and international tourists seeking to escape the crowds and reconnect with nature. On Sunday, July 20, Anadolu captured drone footage of two of the country’s most enchanting southern sites: Blidinje Nature Park and the Drezanka River near Mostar. Designated a nature park in 1995, Blidinje is nestled between the Cvrsnica and Vran mountains and features the country’s largest glacial lake. Blidinje Lake attracts visitors with its crisp mountain air and serene views. The park is also home to more than 150 medieval tombstones, known as stecci, which have been declared a national monument. It is a popular destination for hikers aiming to reach Hajducka Vrata, a natural stone arch that offers panoramic views from the peak of Cvrsnica. With interest growing in lesser-known destinations, more travelers are discovering the rugged beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s natural landscapes.
