A taxi driver was seen carelessly drifting across the lanes of a motorway in Crawley, UK, before bouncing their vehicle off the road's barrier.

The motorist, whose dashcam captured this clip, theorised that the taxi driver must've fallen asleep at the wheel.

They said: "I was driving to work in Brighton when I noticed the taxi driver was moving between lanes too smoothly without any indication on. I slowed down to observe him, but he suddenly crashed into the barrier.

"He narrowly missed a car on the fast lane and me. I had to slow down to avoid a collision. It was obvious he was either fell asleep or on his phone.

"Afterwards I drove along side him for another couple of miles until he turned off at the next junction, could see the side of his car was all damaged and dented."
