Los Angeles, United States - July 28, 2025 07/28/2025 12:15 am GMT-0700 WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department officers from the Rampart Division responded to a reported shooting in the 1600 block of 3rd Street. Officers learned that the suspect was driving a silver Mercedes sedan. While investigating, officers located the Mercedes at a gas station at the intersection of Virgil and Beverly. A traffic stop was conducted, and it was determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen. At least four people were taken into custody during the incident. One of the passengers in the vehicle claimed he had been shot, prompting the Los Angeles Fire Department to dispatch paramedics to the scene. They transported the victim to a nearby hospital.
