This is the shocking moment a cabinet toppled over on a curious toddler.

The young boy was playing in the living room when the drawer fell on him in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand.

CCTV footage shows the child pulling out each compartment from the bottom to the top while his grandmother was making preserved mango paste on June 4.

Moments later, he accidentally tugged the top drawer toward himself, causing the entire cabinet to collapse over him.

A printer placed on top also fell, hitting him on the head.

The youngster immediately burst into tears from shock and pain, prompting the frantic elderly woman to rush over.

She can be seen lifting the cabinet and removing the scattered items from the child before cradling him in her arms to comfort him.

The grandmother said: 'I called his parents, and we took him to the hospital. He wasn't seriously injured and only suffered minor bruising on his leg and under one of his eyes.'
