Curious toddler pulls over shelf onto his mother
This is the shocking moment a curious toddler pulled a shelf over onto his mother.
The young boy had been playing behind his mum's back when he grabbed a belt hanging from the rack in Chiang Rai, Thailand.
CCTV footage shows the woman packing clothes for her son in preparation for a trip to the market, while the child played nearby on March 17.
Moments later, the toddler yanked the leather belt, causing the entire shelf to crash down behind his mother.
The loud impact startled the boy, who immediately burst into tears.
The mum turned to check on her son and saw blood coming from his brow. She then quickly hugged the child and carried him out of the room, while her husband and brother rushed over to check if they were okay.
The parent said: 'I saw him bleeding from the items that struck his face. I quickly took him to the hospital, and they patched up his wound.'
She urged other parents to childproof their homes and remain vigilant to prevent similar accidents.
