[Voiceover] From mist-spraying umbrellas to hats with solar fans, cooling products made in China are seeing demand heat up this summer. At Yiwu's International Trade Market, an umbrella with a small water bottle attached to the handle can spray mist and blow cool air, a captivating invention for this Afghan buyer. [Soundbite] Afghan merchant: "This product is very high quality, I thought this is very beautiful, and the price is very good. I think this will have a good market [in my country]. [I will order] about 50-60 cartons, [or] up to 100 cartons." [Voiceover] The merchant said this type of umbrella is particularly popular in markets in the Middle East, with buyers from Saudi Arabia renewing orders several times. Besides umbrellas, a another hot summer seller is this clip-on waist fan with an 8-hour battery, which is popular with European and American buyers. [Soundbite] Wang Si, business owner, Yiwu International Trade Market: "Previously, fans worn around the neck had a weak airflow and was limited to that area, while the fan which fixes onto the waist is much stronger and allows cool air to reach the entire upper body." [Voiceover] At a hat factory in the city, new orders are flying in after their products with build-in solar fans have gone viral on social platforms. [Soundbite] Jiang Yongtao, factory director: "When our products started to gain popularity, I didn't dare to answer the phone, because at that time our production capacity had already increased from 2,000 to 10,000, so we already had a two-month backlog, and I simply couldn't accept any new orders." [Voiceover] Data from Yiwu Customs shows that in the first six months of this year, the city's hat and fan exports went up by about 15 percent and 22 percent year on year.
