This is the hilarious moment a stray dog photobombed students during a school parade.

The brown pooch slipped into the middle of a stadium and curiously sniffed around youngsters who were in formation in Phitsanulok, Thailand.

Footage shows the canine appearing to lead the group as it stood front and centre.

The stray stayed in place when the marching started, drawing cheers from the crowd, then joined the second line of girls as they walked, trotting alongside them.

Student Sanya Khruahong said: 'The dog joined in the cheer routine and took the spot as the new centre forward.'

The group chanted while the dog took the front spot, prompting the audience to clap their hands.

The animal was eventually guided to a safe area so the programme could continue.
