I volunteer with a city pound. The puppy in this video was found wandering by animal control. Because she was so small I volunteered to take her home with me. The next night a female dog who had recently had puppies was picked up in the same area. We weren't 100% sure they were related but I thought I'd give it a shot. This is the video of mother and puppy reuniting.

I am reuniting a mother dog and her puppy after they came in separately. The puppy was picked up by Bellaire animal control on July 20th 2025 in the morning. Because of the puppies age we decided it would be best if she came home with me. So the puppy spent the night with me at my house. Meanwhile late that night another female dog was picked up. This adult female dog had recently had puppies and was visually very similar looking to the puppy. She was also picked up in roughly the same area at the puppy. The adult female was taken to the Bellaire pound facility where she spent the night.
The next morning I took the puppy to the pound to meet the adult female dog. We weren't certain she was the puppies mother but we thought there was a good chance. The video is the reunion between Mom and Pup.

The mother pup is named Mae and is about 10 months old. The puppy is named Gracie and is about 3 months old.
