US, Los Angeles: Vermont Knolls Fatal Hit-and-Run Auto vs Pedestrian Collision
Los Angeles, United States - August 19, 2025 08/18/2025 09:57 pm GMT-0700 VERMONT KNOLLS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian incident at the intersection of 74th Street and Figueroa Street. A woman was allegedly struck by a car that fled the scene, according to reports. Responding officers found her lying face down in the street. They requested traffic units and additional personnel to secure the crime scene. Emergency personnel declared the woman deceased at the scene. No suspect information has been made available at this time.
