Storyline: China's Yangtze River Delta region forges ahead in embodied AI robot race [Voice_over] In eastern China’s Yangtze River Delta region, multiple tech innovation centers have been established this year to facilitate the development, production and testing of artificial intelligence embodied robots. One comprehensive innovation center has been launched in Suzhou and focuses on three core functions including technological innovation, talent cultivation, and scenario sharing. [Sound_bite] Sui Jinhui, Investment Director, Suzhou Embodied Artificial Intelligence Robotics Innovation Center, Jiangsu Province: "We deeply collaborate with industrial, academic, and research stakeholders, including scenario demand partners, investment institutions, and vocational colleges, forming a 99-member sci-tech innovation alliance. Beyond our training center, we’ve also planned a 20,000-square-meter industrial incubation hub and built 200,000 square meters of high-standard production workshops." [Voice_over] Meanwhile in Shaoxing, the Hangzhou Bay Embodied Intelligence Innovation Center focuses on industrial application at its training grounds while also facilitating STEM educational programs, and agricultural tech support. [Sound_bite] Yin Zhe, General Manager, Hangzhou Bay Embodied Intelligence Innovation Center, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province: "We are a comprehensive platform integrating data collection, education, tech exchange, and industrial empowerment—open to the public. Visitors can explore our exhibition hall, learn about embodied AI, and even operate or assemble robots themselves." [Voice_over] According to a report put out by financial firm Morgan Stanley, China’s robotics market is expected to be valued at $108 billion U.S. dollars by the year 2028.
