Los Angeles, United States - November 22, 2025 11/21/2025 10:00 pm GMT-0800 PORTER RANCH, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A Los Angeles Police Department SWAT standoff was underway after an armed man reportedly barricaded himself inside a residence in the 10500 block of Yolanda Avenue following a domestic violence call late Friday night. Initial reports indicate the incident began as a domestic dispute in which the suspect allegedly threatened to shoot the victim. The victim was located and appeared uninjured. Officers arriving on scene learned the suspect was armed and refusing to come out, prompting the call for a SWAT response. A crime scene perimeter was established around the area. The call came in sometime before 10 p.m. Further details about the situation remained limited as law enforcement continued to negotiate with the suspect.
