Dramatic footage shows a toppled white motorbike submerged in floodwaters as its owner tries to steady it in Pali, Rajasthan, on Wednesday, August 20.

The vehicle was nearly swept away, but two residents quickly rushed to the rider's aid, helping him regain control and prevent the bike from being carried off by the fast-flowing water.

Earlier that day, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued a yellow alert for rainfall across 23 districts in the state, prompting warnings of heavy downpours.

Officials have cautioned that rainfall is expected to intensify across the state starting August 23. Residents are urged to exercise caution and stay updated with local weather advisories.
