Terrifying visuals from Sundargarh district in Odisha show a trailer truck being swept away by the raging waters of the Safai River. The incident occurred near Jhantelbud under Bargaon police limits, where the truck attempted to cross a flooded bridge despite the heavy current.

The powerful flow engulfed the vehicle, leaving onlookers shocked. The truck driver, identified as Sujeet Aind, has gone missing, while the helper, Avinash Barala, was rescued safely.

Locals immediately alerted the police and fire department, who launched a rescue operation to trace the missing driver. Heavy rainfall over the past several days has caused the Safai River to swell dangerously, worsening the situation in the region.
