Firefighters arrived on scene near 35th Ave and Sweetwater and found a large volume of smoke and fire coming from a single story home. Crews used a coordinated attack with firefighters going interior with hose lines, while a ladder crew was assigned to the roof for ventilation. This coordinated attack resulted in firefighters being able to get fire control and ultimately extinguished the fire. The homeowners were able to safely escape from the fire, before the arrival of firefighters. There are no reports of any injuries on the fire ground and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
