A man got instant karma when he chipped his tooth in half while escaping a friend he had slapped in the face.

Rion Carr, 20, playfully smacked his friend Kyle Car in the face while wearing a foam glove, as they waited in the queue for a WWE match.

Kyle retaliated, and in a bid to escape Rion ducked his head - going face-first into a metal bollard.

A video caught the exchange - and Rion's shocked reaction as he grinned at the camera with half a tooth, outside the 3Arena, in Dublin, on August 22.

Rion said: "I didn't realise the pole was behind me - it was a complete accident."

"I laughed it off. I was in shock of my stupidity and how I managed to break my tooth in such a stupid way."

"My friends both started laughing but were in shock about it."

"I have to go to the dentist tomorrow to hopefully get it fixed. "

"It's going to be a new tooth."

The pair and friend Ruairi McGaringle were attending the 3Arena Friday Night SmackDown event.
