A dazzling array of exquisitely made products have attracted flocks of visitors to the Belt and Road co-construction exhibition area at the ongoing seventh China-Arab States Expo. Themed "Innovation, Green Development, Prosperity," the four-day expo opened in Yinchuan City of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on Thursday. The expo features trade dialogs and exhibitions in traditional areas like economy, energy and agriculture, while covering emerging fields such as green development, healthcare and smart technology. The Belt and Road co-construction exhibition area displays more than 10,000 special products from over 30 countries, including a wide variety of food, leather products, jewelry, metal utensils, and wooden decorations. At the exhibition booth of Uzbekistan, handmade silk carpets with various patterns and colors dragged much attention. Domestic exhibitors also brought their own unique products to the expo. At the pavilion of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, local textiles and agricultural products attracted many buyers. First held in 2013, the biennial expo has become an important platform for China and the Arab states to promote pragmatic cooperation and advance high-quality collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative.
