China: Erenhot port handles 2,500 China-Europe freight trains this year

Erenhot, the largest land port on the China-Mongolia border, has handled over 2,500 entries and exits of China-Europe freight trains this year, the local customs said on Thursday. As a pivotal entry-exit point for the central corridor of the China-Europe Railway Express, the Erenhot port currently serves 74 routes linking over 60 cities across 24 Chinese provincial-level regions to more than 70 transport hubs in a dozen countries, including Germany and Poland.
