Kamalia, Pakistan - September 02, 2025 A massive flood wave of around 180,000 cusecs is passing through the Ravi River in Kamalia, devastating dozens of villages. The overflowing water has also caused the Sim Nala to breach its limits, weakening its embankments and putting Qaim Shah village, nearby areas, and even Kamalia city at serious risk.Residents claim that despite repeated pleas, the administration has remained silent. Locals have been strengthening the embankments on their own since yesterday to prevent a major disaster. They are now urging the Commissioner of Faisalabad and the Chief Minister of Punjab to take immediate action.
