2. INTERVIEW WITH NAIL ABU SHELBI'S FATHER HANI ABU SHELBI GAZA, PALESTINE - SEPTEMBER 4: Four-year-old Nail Abu Shelbi lost his sight and hearing after shrapnel struck his head during an Israeli strike on his family’s home in central Deir al-Balah.

The attack left the boy paralyzed, and like many children in Gaza, he now struggles with malnutrition amid widespread shortages of medicine and treatment. Nail is receiving limited care at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, where doctors say they lack the resources to properly treat him.

The Israeli army has launched a brutal military offensive on the Gaza Strip, killing more than 64,200 Palestinians in Gaza. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Premier Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
