On September 3, a tent was set up in Paris' Bastille Square to commemorate the 18,457 Gazan children who lost their lives in Israel's attacks, at the initiative of various associations in the country. After a name of Gazan child is read in front of the tent, the protesters respond shouting “killed”. The names of Palestinian children who lost their lives will be read out in Bastille Square until September 5. Israel has already killed more than 64,200 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
