Akood Sanom and his partner came across three young girls sitting on a rain-soaked road covered in sludge following a heavy downpour in Surin, Thailand.

Heartwarming footage shows Akood stopping his car near the carefree children, identified as Maprang, Gift, and Kan, from a nearby home.

His girlfriend asked: 'Isn't it a lot of fun?'. The girls nodded in reply during the touching encounter on September 8.

The kindergarteners then stood up when Akood asked if they could rise to their feet, concerned they might be stuck.

Akood said: 'I remember being a child. It was a lot of fun, and my friends and I would shower and play in the rain just like they were doing.'
