Man hospitalised after being crushed by heavy tiles falling from truck
On September 20 in Shantou, Guangdong, a man was unloading goods while standing on the edge of a small truck bed stacked with tiles when the load suddenly shifted. Losing his balance, he fell backward to the ground.
At the same moment, the tiles toppled off the truck, crashing down onto him. The man screamed in pain as co-workers quickly rushed forward to move the tiles and pull him free from under the heavy weight.
He was later taken to hospital for examination, where doctors confirmed he had sustained serious back injuries. He is currently recovering in hospital.
