VARIOUS OF RELATIVES SAYING GOODBYE TO KILLED PALESTINIANS GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - OCT. 3: At least seven Palestinians, including three children, killed in an Israeli attack on the Gaza City, on Friday (Oct. 3). An Israeli drone targeted civilian settlements in the Sabra neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, killing seven people, injuring many others. According to local sources, three children from the same family were among the Palestinians killed in the attack. The bodies of killed and injured Palestinians were taken to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in the east of the city. Palestinian Civil Defense Directorate spokesman Mahmoud Basal called on international institutions to "take urgent action to stop the ongoing genocide” noting the teams have been facing significant difficulties in reaching the targeted areas due to the intense attacks. Since October 2023, Israeli bombardment has killed over 66,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in the Palestinian enclave, rendering it uninhabitable. A 20-point plan to end the war was unveiled earlier this week. Israel has maintained the blockade on Gaza, home to nearly 2.4 million, for nearly 18 years, and further tightened the siege in March when it closed border crossings and blocked food and medicine deliveries, pushing the enclave into famine.
