This is the dramatic moment a drunk tennis fan was hauled out of a sports stadium in China after repeatedly screaming through a tennis match.

Xie, 46, had reportedly been drinking before she started shrieking during an ATP Masters 1000 match at the Shanghai Qizhong Forest Sports City Tennis Centre for the Shanghai Masters in Shanghai on Wednesday.

Her piercing yells echoed across the court, disrupting players and frustrating fellow spectators.

Police stationed at the venue tried to calm her down, but she was seen mocking them while flashing her Swedish passport and carrying on with her outbursts.

Footage shows Xie hysterically screaming for help as officers wrestled her out of her seat. Her young son desperately tried to pull their arms away.

Xie shrieked in English 'I was just watching the game!' only to be stunned into silence when the other spectators replied: 'Go away! Shut up, bi**h!'

The crowd then burst into applause as she was dragged out of the venue.

The Minhang branch of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau said police have imposed 'administrative sanctions' on Xie.

It said in a statement: 'Police remind spectators to observe public order and observe the events in a civilized manner during large-scale events. Public security authorities will severely handle any illegal acts that disrupt the court and disrupt the normal progress of the event.'
