Los Angeles, United States - October 07, 2025 10/06/2025 11:45 pm GMT-0700 AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – Shortly before midnight on Monday, a traffic collision occurred on the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 near Kanan Road. The incident involved a black Jeep and a white sedan, with debris blocking the slow lanes of the highway as a result of the crash. Emergency services responded swiftly. The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert around 12:07 a.m. on Tuesday, announcing that the number 5 lane would be shut down for approximately one hour due to the collision. A rotation request was made for a tow truck to assist with the damaged vehicles shortly after. By 12:19 a.m., CHP had canceled the Sig Alert after confirming the roadway was clear, with remaining debris expected to dissipate with traffic flow. A male passenger was reported ejected from the Jeep, and both he and an additional victim were transported to the hospital by the Los Angeles County Fire Department in unknown conditions.
