Los Angeles, United States - May 21, 2025 05/21/2025 12:03 am GMT-0700 EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Riverside police pursued a pickup truck that was traveling westbound on the 60 Freeway, near the 57 Freeway split, with sparks flying from the vehicle. The suspect was reportedly driving on three tires while heading from Riverside toward the San Gabriel Valley area. The pursuit continued into East Los Angeles, where the truck eventually came to a stop on the westbound 60 Freeway at the 710 Freeway. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. Riverside police officers later apprehended the individual. The reason for the suspect's flight from Riverside officers remains unclear. In the aftermath of the pursuit and subsequent crash, two right lanes of the freeway were closed as Riverside police conducted their investigation.
