Herd of moose seen foraging alongside railway tracks through Adirondack Mountains
A herd of moose was seen foraging along railway tracks in the scenic Adirondack Mountains.
Footage shows the animals snacking on bushes near the tracks in Hamilton County, New York.
A large bull moose with impressive antlers was spotted alongside a smaller companion as they fed among the conifer trees.
According to wildlife officials, the Adirondack moose population remains stable at around 600 to 800 animals. In July, increased bull activity even prompted a temporary month-long closure of the Goodman Mountain trail to ensure public safety.
