Los Angeles, United States - July 02, 2025 07/02/2025 02:00 am GMT-0700 SAN GABRIEL, Calif. – California Highway Patrol officers from the Baldwin Park Station attempted to pull over a high-speed motorcycle traveling eastbound on the 10 Freeway at Azusa Avenue in West Covina. The rider, however, did not stop for law enforcement, leading to a high-speed chase that reached speeds of up to 130 miles per hour. The pursuit continued until the suspect exited onto Fairplex Drive from the eastbound 10 Freeway in Pomona, then re-entered the westbound 10 Freeway. The chase ultimately took the suspect into San Gabriel, where the motorcycle entered a parking structure at the Sheraton Los Angeles, located at 303 E. Valley Blvd. The motorcycle crashed into a gate within the parking structure, and the suspect was taken into custody by CHP officers. Firefighters checked the suspect for injuries, but he was not transported to a medical facility.
