The George Bush Intercontinental Airport experienced heavy traffic as attendees from AfroTech returned home from Houston.

Footage shows crowded terminals as thousands of participants, dressed in business casual attire, rush to catch flights following the conference on November 2.

Many travellers carried roller bags, backpacks, laptops, and coffee cups beneath the terminal's bright LED lights and soaring glass walls.

The filmer said: 'AfroTech people flying out of IAH, use terminal A. E is going to have you miss your flight.

'Use PreCheck instead of clear. They were holding the clear line for some strange reason. I barely made my flight.'

AfroTech is a major annual conference for Black innovators, professionals, and entrepreneurs in technology, focusing on career development, networking, and innovation.

This year, the event drew more than 40,000 attendees to the George R. Brown Convention Centre, held from October 27 to 31.
