GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - NOV. 4: Humanitarian aid trucks continued to enter the besieged Gaza Strip on Tuesday (Nov. 4) under a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Among the convoys crossing through the Rafah border were shipments from Turkish aid organizations.

Aid convoys, mostly carrying food supplies, have been moving through multiple crossings including Kerem Shalom and Kissufim to assist the victims of Israel's 2-year-long war on Gaza.

A ceasefire deal took effect on Oct. 10 in the Gaza Strip, based on a phased plan presented by US President Donald Trump. Phase one included the release of Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. The plan also envisages the rebuilding of Gaza and the establishment of a new governing mechanism without Hamas.

Israel has killed nearly 69,000 people, mostly women and children, and injured over 170,000 others in attacks in Gaza since October 2023.
