Man Rescues Injured Ram and Prevents Accident on Highway in Minas Gerais (Brazil)
While driving back from Belo Horizonte, Afonso experienced a moment of tension and bravery on the highway. A ram suddenly appeared on the road, and the car ahead nearly hit the animal. Acting on instinct, Afonso swerved into the opposite lane and stopped his vehicle, running to rescue the creature before another accident could happen. The ram was injured and in serious condition, but Afonso did everything he could to keep it safe — signaling to other drivers and helping until the very end.
Although the animal did not survive, Afonso’s quick action prevented a tragedy and drew attention to a serious issue on Brazilian highways: loose animals that endanger both themselves and motorists.
