Filmed by Jennifer Broome aboard an Island Packers vessel, the mesmerizing scene captures the dolphins bow-riding through nutrient-rich waters of the Santa Barbara Channel, an area known for hosting mega-pods that can number in the thousands during the fall months.
Under soft November skies, the dolphins appear almost choreographed — leaping in unison, weaving through the waves, and reflecting the natural harmony that defines life around Channel Islands National Park. The overcast weather, typical for the season, muted the glare of the sea, making every movement stand out with vivid clarity.
