Authorities recorded over 900 emergency calls across Catalonia, with more than 370 incidents in the Vallès region alone.
Roads including the BP-1413 were briefly closed between Cerdanyola del Vallès and neighbouring areas, and flights at Barcelona–El Prat Airport were cancelled amid the intense downpour.

While the official flood alert for the region was downgraded before 2 pm, authorities have urged extreme caution, especially near rivers and in low-lying drainage zones, as further showers are forecast.
