A passenger said he had the worst flight ever when he was seated next to a crying toddler - who repeatedly kicked him.

Long-suffering tourist Paul Lee endured the 10-minute tantrum as the baby next to him had a mid-air meltdown during the Vietnam Airlines flight.

Footage shows Paul pursing his lips as the girl kicked his arm repeatedly, with the mother simply laughing as she moved the child's legs away.

He had put on headphones to drown out the noise, but the child carried on wailing for several more minutes.

Speaking today about the flight from hell, Paul said: 'This was filmed last year, and I had to sit next to a mother and daughter. This lasted for about five minutes.

'I didn't confront her or do anything, just waited and then enjoyed my flight. A little patience went a long way. The kid's mother did not apologise.'

He added in a comment on Instagram: 'Rather than let this ruin my whole flight and me make a scene, I just waited it out. Fortunately, minutes later, it stopped and I enjoyed the rest of my flight. Some battles aren't worthy to be had.'
