Overnight search continues at Turkish C-130 military cargo aircraft crash site in Georgia

2. SEARCH AND RESCUE VEHICLES AT CRASH SITE GEORGIA - NOV. 12: Search and rescue operations at the crash site of a Turkish Air Force C-130 military cargo plane continued overnight in Georgia’s Kakheti region on Wednesday, November 12.
Accident investigation and rescue teams carried out operations for a second day, supported by helicopters since early morning.
Units from Georgia’s Interior Ministry and armed forces actively took part in the efforts, which were closely monitored by Interior Minister Gega Geladze and Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani.
Despite nightfall, crews remained at the site, while some helicopters, ambulances, and fire trucks left the area later in the evening.
On Tuesday, a Turkish C-130 military cargo aircraft en route from Azerbaijan crashed in Georgia.
According to the Turkish Defense Ministry, the aircraft was carrying 20 people, including the flight crew.
