MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - NOV. 12: Metal security fences nearly three meters high were installed around the National Palace on Wednesday, Nov. 12, as authorities prepared for several planned demonstrations in Mexico City, including a Gen Z march scheduled for Saturday.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said during her morning press conference that the fences were installed to protect the national historic monument.
