Families and friends joined in an amusing money string dance at a wedding.

Footage shows guests clipping envelopes with banknotes inside while others even added property titles during the wedding reception of Jayson and Shayne Demape in Cebu City, the Philippines, on September 29.

After hanging the gifts, the groom and bride energetically took the items off the thin rope while the host counted to 15 seconds. The newlywed successfully took off all the envelopes and papers before the timer ended.

Bride Shayne said: 'We decided to have a love string instead of the usual prosperity dance because my husband and I didn't want to be poked by needles.

'At the same time, we wanted to be trendy, and we wanted our guests to enjoy our wedding.'
