Korea's largest gaming exhibition, G-Star, gets underway

G-STAR 2025, Korea’s largest game exhibition, kicks off from November 13 to 16 at BEXCO in Busan, marking its biggest edition yet.

This year’s event features 1,273 companies from 44 countries across 3,269 booths, held under the slogan “Expand Your Horizons.” The program includes a large-scale game exhibition, business meetings, conferences, and esports competitions.

Major domestic and international companies such as NCSOFT, Krafton, Netmarble, and Google Play are participating.

NCSOFT, this year’s main sponsor, will operate a massive 300-booth exhibition space showcasing five new titles, including AION 2 and Cinder City.

Visitors can experience hands-on demos and explore custom gameplay on both PC and mobile.

The company is also running a “Startup with NC” booth to support indie developers like NewCore, Gangnam Games, NadiaSoft, and Influsion.

Netmarble will present four new titles — Project Evilbane, Solo Leveling: KARMA, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, and Monster Guild: Star Dive — across 145 demo stations. Project Evilbane, developed by Netmarble Monster, is making its first public debut as a third-person cooperative action game.

Krafton joins for the ninth consecutive year, reintroducing its PUBG-themed interactive rest zone “Café PUBG.”

Blizzard makes a long-awaited return after 12 years with an immersive booth, while global companies such as Sega Atlas (Japan), Bandai Namco, Warhorse Studios (Czech Republic), and Unity also take part.

The G-CON Conference will feature speakers including game developers, film directors, and webtoon creators.

The Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy will host a record 80 indie studios, while the G-STAR Cup 2025, a special Overwatch 2 tournament, runs November 13–15.

A joint pavilion of Busan-based game companies will also promote networking and industry growth opportunities. The Korea Game Awards will be held on November 12 as a pre-event.
