TOKYO, JAPAN - DEC. 4: The International Robot Exhibition (IREX) opened in the Japanese capital on Dec. 3, bringing together visitors to see robotics applications designed for industry, healthcare, logistics and daily life.
The event, running through Dec. 6, highlights a wide range of technologies presented by exhibitors aiming to demonstrate how robotics can support various sectors.
The exhibition, first held in 1974 and organized every two years since, marks its 26th edition this year. It is regarded as one of the world’s largest robot-focused events.
The 2025 edition is held under the theme “Sustainable Societies Through Robotics,” emphasizing the goal of creating new industries and addressing social challenges through collaboration between humans and robots.
Throughout the fair, state-of-the-art robots and related technologies, including AI, ICT and component systems, are displayed.
