Kansas City, United States - November 11, 2025 Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a dramatic intervention on November 11, 2025, when a trooper’s swift actions stopped a wrong way driver before a potential disaster on I-670. The incident unfolded during a pursuit in which the driver was heading the wrong direction on the interstate, posing an immediate threat to oncoming traffic. In a brief statement, Missouri State Highway Patrol said: “It only takes a second for a wrong way driver to cause tragedy – and this trooper’s fast actions during a pursuit stopped it from happening on I-670 in the Kansas City area.”
