Monmouth town was flooded severely on the night of 14th to 15th November 2025 when the River Monnow broke its banks causing catastrophic flooding and devastating damage to homes and businesses. This video captures the moments when a man was rescued by the Fire and Rescue Service in Monnow Street taking him through filthy floodwaters in a rubber dinghy to a point of safety.
