Los Angeles, United States - May 22, 2025 05/22/2025 03:15 am GMT-0700 EL MONTE, Calif. – California Highway Patrol officers from East Los Angeles reported observing a black Honda sedan entering the freeway in the wrong direction at the intersection of Interstate 10 West and Baldwin Avenue. Shortly after, units on the scene heard a crash. Officers arrived and discovered a three-vehicle collision. One male driver was trapped inside the driver's side of the black Honda, which is believed to be the wrong-way vehicle. Firefighters extricated the driver, who was then transported to an area hospital in unknown condition. The status of any other individuals involved in the crash remains unclear. The California Highway Patrol had closed the Baldwin Avenue off-ramp while crews worked to clean up the scene.
