US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Road Closure On Airport Drive Due To Flooding Part 2
Bakersfield, United States - November 16, 2025 11/15/2025 08:00 pm GMT-0800 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A full road closure is now in effect beginning late Saturday evening on Airport Drive between State Road and Roberts Lane due to flooding. The roadway is closed to all traffic as water levels continue to rise. Caltrans crews have set up barricades and are monitoring conditions, but no timeline has been provided for when the roadway will reopen. The closure began after heavy rainfall prompted both Caltrans and the California Highway Patrol to shut down the underpass at 8:00 p.m. The California Highway Patrol and Caltrans personnel remain on the scene to assist with the situation.
