To further support these enterprises in expanding overseas, Guangzhou Customs established a training base to help private firms apply for Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification, granting them faster customs procedures and reduced international trade costs. As a result, private enterprises in Guangzhou exported goods worth 444.87 billion yuan (about 62.59 billion U.S. dollars) in the first 10 months, marking a 27.3-percent year-on-year increase.
